Choose from five Haven holiday parks on the Yorkshire coast
Blue Dolphin is a clifftop holiday park overlooking Gristhorpe Bay in Filey. There are picturesque walks and panoramic sea views and the sandy beaches at Filey and Scarborough are just a short drive away. On park there is a heated outdoor pool and indoor pool with multi-lane waterslide, and a host of indoor activities in the SportsDrome. For families, there is lots of fun at the refurbished large indoor soft play area.
Primrose Valley, near Filey, is within easy reach of the popular tourist towns of Scarborough and Bridlington. The park has two indoor pools (one has been extended for this season) and an outdoor swimming pool. There’s also a large lake for fishing and boating.
Reighton Sands overlooks five miles of sandy beach at Reighton Gap and there are clifftop walks to the nearby RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs. Take a tractor train down to the beach, and then pop back to the park’s newly refurbished bar and restaurant for a relaxing lunch. The park has a heated indoor pool and outdoor lazy river, and there’s a challenging 9-hole par 34 golf course with gorgeous sea views.
Thornwick Bay is Haven’s newest park and has just enjoyed a £10 million makeover. Sitting on part of the Flamborough Cliffs nature reserve, this fabulous location is perfect for spotting puffins and wildlife. The park makes the most of its setting with kite flying and bird watching sessions, fishing lessons and adventure trails, and there’s a refurbished indoor pool and a refurbished bar and restaurant with terrace.
Far Grange in Skipsea is an owners-only park, which means it has an exclusive, peaceful feel. The clifftop park overlooks a sandy beach and is close to the seaside town of Skipsea and historic Beverley. The park has great facilities, including a swimming pool and spa, fishing lakes and an 18-hole course.
