The Garda Village Holiday Park
Located on southern bank of Lake Garda, just three kilometres from Sirmione, Garda Village is a large complex offering bungalow and caravan style accommodation as well as plenty of entertainment facilities.
Well located for visiting the surrounding areas, including Verona, there is also much to do on site. You will find swimming pools for adults and children, a hydro massage stream, mini golf, tennis courts, football pitches and archery facilities.
On the private beach you can have fun playing beach volley and canoes, motor boats, jet skis and pedal-boats can all be rented out from here.
Children have their own playground as well as a games room and a mini club, with activities and excursions organised for them and adults. Gardaland, Italy’s biggest amusement park is also just 20 minutes away.
Live music and dancing take place at the various bars inside Garda Village. The pizzeria restaurant offers lovely lake views and organises themed evenings, buffets and barbeques.

Water activity**
The biggest draw has got to be the huge swimming pool complex, comprising of a large pool, a toddler padding pool and a ‘hydro massage stream’ – or ‘lazy river’. Surrounded by plenty of sun beds, this area is the ideal place for the grown-ups to relax whilst the children have fun.
If natural water is more your thing, then make your way to the private beach on the edge of the park. You can swim here as well as hire out canoes, motor boats, jet skis and pedal-boats.
**The pool complex opens for Easter from 23/04/2011. The children’s pool and river pool open from 20/05/2011. Please note that swim hats must be worn in the pool complex.

Accommodation at The Garda Village Holiday Park
Choose from three types of accommodation:
(1) The Bilo-Standard Bungalow (sleeps 4) : twin bedroom, living room with a pull up sofa bed, kitchen corner, bathroom with shower. There is a shaded garden terrace with table and chairs, reserved parking space, telephone with direct line, heater and air conditioner, TV-SAT, crockery. Bedroom and bathroom linen is included.
(2) The Willerby Mobile home (27 mq, sleeps 4) – fully equipped mobile homes WC/shower room, 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, kitchen with hob and fridge.
(3) The Buerstner Mobile Home (24mq, sleeps 4) ) – fully equipped mobile homes WC/shower room, 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, kitchen with hob and fridge.
Baby cots can be hired on your arrival at park at the cost of 5 Euros per day. A guarantee deposit will be required on arrival with a credit card or cash. You can check in from 3pm, and must vacate your accommodation by 10am.
All accommodation includes bed linen and bath towels, as well as a reserved parking space.

Gardaland - The fantastic Gardaland is the largest amusement park in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. It offers its visitors no less than 11 different shows each day and 5 themed restaurants. The Park has rides for the courageous such as Blue Tornado, Space Vertigo and Magic Mountain or you could discover the ruins of an ancient oriental temple on board a rubber dinghy, or visit Fantasy Kingdom for the children. Canevaworld - This is the largest water amusement park in Italy with different shows every day. The park includes - aqua park, amusement park, large waterslides, aqua gym. There is also a boating lake. You won’t go hungry either with restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours, shops, pizzeria on site.
Parco Termale del Garda - Enjoy the warm thermal waters at Parco Thermale amongst the thuya and beech trees and relax at the Aesthetic centre where body and face treatments are provided using products from the ’Thermal Park Garda’.
Ferrari Museum - For the attention of all dads and small boys! Enzo Ferrari was born in Modena on 18 February 1898. Just south of here is Maranello the present headquarters of Ferrari. Galleria Ferrari built in 1988 is just around the corner from the factory. Unofficially known as the ’Temple of the Red Road Gods’ this modern two-storey building holds exhibits of both racing and road cars. The museum contains books and other memorabilia including hand built die cast models of various Ferraris.
