BreakFree Holidays Promotional FAQ’s LOCAL WORLD Holidays - Summer and Autumn 2013

When does the promotion launch in the newspaper?

The promotion launches on Monday 29th April 2013.

How many tokens / passwords do I need to collect?

You will need to collect 4 different tokens / passwords to enable you to book a holiday.

When will I be able to book online?

The booking website will open on Thursday 2nd May 2013.

When can I go on holiday?

There is a selection of summer and autumn dates in this promotion. Please note that not all locations are available on all dates. The accommodation price varies depending on the type of unit you select and when you decide to go on holiday.

A Standard Holiday Home costs £16 per person (minimum charge £64)
A Luxury Holiday Home costs £20 per person (minimum charge £80)
A Luxury Plus Holiday Home costs £23 per person (minimum charge £92)
A Premier* Holiday Home costs £35 per person (minimum charge £140)
* Premier accommodation includes linen.

I understand that there may be additional charges for services & entertainment. What are these charges?

All UK holiday parks make additional charges for services. Service charges cover the cost of pre-arrival cleaning and the preparation of your holiday home and include the cost of gas and electricity. Parks also offer entertainment programmes and make an optional charge for entertainment and Clubroom Passes. Some parks may also charge an additional refundable cleaning/damage waiver deposit. These charges will be invoiced to you directly from your holiday park and they are payable after you receive your holiday confirmation. Charges vary & may be free on some dates. How many bedrooms will I get in my accommodation?

Your accommodation will be allocated by the park based on the size of your party. Details will be sent to you within 21 days of your booking (UK holiday parks only).

Is there a booking fee?

There is an online fee of £2.80 per booking.

When will I receive confirmation of my booking?

If you book online, confirmation of your holiday will be e-mailed to you immediately. UK holiday parks will also send confirmation by post within 21 days, detailing the accommodation you have been allocated and any additional charges that may apply. If you book by post, the park will send confirmation of your holiday and this may take up to 21 days.

Where can I find my booking reference number?

Your BreakFree Holidays unique booking reference can be found on the confirmation we send to you. This should be quoted on all correspondence or if wish to speak to us about your holiday.

What happens if my postal application is unsuccessful?

If we are unable to find you a holiday based on your selections, we will write to you to see if we can find you an alternative. If we still cannot find anything suitable, you original application and your payment will be returned to you.

What are the terms and conditions relating to this offer?

Do you offer holiday insurance?

Yes. You can choose to take out our optional holiday insurance which is priced at £10.00 per booking for UK breaks. BreakFree Holidays Travel Insurance is provided by Optimum Underwriting Ltd, a major supplier of insurance services to the travel industry. What can I do if I have a specific holiday request?

If you a special requirement, such as disabled accommodation, enquiring whether you can take your dog on holiday with you or if you would like an upgrade, please contact your park direct after you have made your booking. Details of your park will be included with your confirmation.

When is the closing date for the promotion?

Online booking will close at midnight on Friday 31st May 2013 and postal applications will be accepted up to post received on Friday 31st May 2013.

Do these ever include school holidays?

For summer holidays, there is a three night break that starts on 19th July.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not permitted at any of the parks included in this offer.

Do we have to take 4 people?

All prices are based on a minimum of four people booking. It is possible for fewer than 4 people to book a holiday at the 4-person price.

How much is it to upgrade my holiday home? Can this be done at time of booking?

Book online and you can see all accommodation types listed by price and book the one you want.

Do you overbook holidays?

When you book online your reservation is made directly on our system and we can confirm your booking immediately. When you book by post we have to process your application manually and so this delay means a park that was available is now sold out.

Do bookings run Sat to Sat or can customers pick their own dates?

UK holidays run from Monday to Friday (4 nights) or from Friday to Monday (3 nights).
