The focal point of the park is the splendid indoor swimming pool, which is kept really warm from March to the end of October. Other outdoor pursuits include a children’s play area and, when you want to unwind, there’s a sauna.
In the Exmoor Club, the park’s own clubhouse, guests can enjoy regular discos or dancing to live bands, and children are welcome in the Exmoor Club. There are the latest video games and pool tables and when you don’t fancy cooking, try the Country Kitchen Restaurant, the takeaway or perhaps a bar meal. The shop sells the daily provisions you may require and a whole lot more, and there is a launderette.
Out and about there are a host of interesting places to visit and explore. A ten minute drive will take you to the fabulous Woolacombe beach - 3 miles of sandy coastline. Ilfracombe is the leading resort on Devon’s Golden Coast and there are a host of attractions here, including good shopping facilities. For those who enjoy walking, there are beautiful walks along the North Devon coastline and, a little further afield, is Exmoor and, further still, the beauty of Dartmoor. Ilfracombe is a harbour town and takes you back to the heyday of Victorian times, while Barnstaple is another very popular shopping town where modern architecture blends with old.
Accommodation at Ilfracombe Holiday Park is in chalets and apartments all fitted to high standards. Sleeping up to 8, all the accommodation has fitted kitchens, separate bedrooms, bathroom and colour TV.
Ilfracombe Holiday Park does not accept bookings from all male or all female parties under the ageof 25 or from mixed parties under 21.
Bed linen, towels and tea towels are not provided so please bring your own.
Cots and high chairs are available for hire at £5 each per break but, if hiring a cot, please remember to bring your own cot linen and blankets.
