Widemouth Bay Caravan Park is situated on the famous bay of the same name near to Bude on Cornwall’s glorious north coast.

Just a short walk from the park is Widemouth beach, which is one of the finest beaches in Cornwall, with a vast expanse of sand, good bathing and good surfing. The holiday parc is set in 50 acres and has an indoor heated swimming pool that is available from March to the end of October. There’s dancing nightly in the Farmhouse Club and occasional cabaret entertainment and, of course, children are welcome in the club.

For daily provisions there is a well-stocked shop and a Chef’s Corner and takeaway. Children will enjoy the Foxy Club and play area, and there is an amusement arcade with pool tables and the latest video games. There is also a launderette for the convenience of guests.

A short drive will take you to the popular town of Bude, which has many interesting places to visit, as well as good shopping. From Widemouth it’s easy to explore the many and varied delights of both Devon and Cornwall. Visit Tintagel, a place of mystery and romance with its witches’ museum and the legend of King Arthur and Merlin. All along this coast are quaint fishing villages and market towns, which are quite unspoilt. There are traditional inns and hosts of smugglers’ coves, which are delightful places for a quiet picnic. By complete contrast, Newquay, about an hour away offers all the fayre of a traditional ’kiss me quick’ seaside resort and is well worth a visit.
