Booking Help

Some holiday dates will be more popular than others so to help you get a great BreakFree Holiday, please be flexible on dates and locations. Holidays are added to the website regularly, so please come back and search again if you are unable to find a holiday straight away.

Accommodation

Please note that accommodation types shown are subject to confirmation by the holiday park operator and may change. Your allocated accommodation type will be confirmed to you in writing by your holiday park, this will be based on the size of your party.

Entertainment Passes

If you are looking for a bit more than relaxation on your short break, all of our parks offer quality entertainment for the whole family.

To enjoy the daily entertainment programme or to gain access to some parks’ leisure facilities, you can purchase optional entertainment or clubroom passes.

These are available from £2.85 per person per break and you can purchase them direct from your holiday park after you have received your holiday confirmation. The cost of entertainment and clubroom passes is shown with each park in our listings.

Charges

Holiday Parks will make a Service Charge for each holiday home booked. This covers pre-arrival cleaning and preparation of your holiday home and includes gas and electricity.

Service Charges start at £5 per unit per night and the Service Charge at each park is shown in our listings. Your park will charge you direct for Service Charge and this is payable after you receive your holiday confirmation

Booking Fees

All bookings are subject to a £3 booking fee to cover administration and credit/debit card handling charges. This will show on your summary screen when you book your holiday.

We strongly recommend that you take out our optional holiday insurance, which is available at £10 per booking.

I understand that there may be additional charges for services & entertainment. What are these charges?

All UK holiday parks will make additional charges for services and entertainment. Service charges cover the cost of pre-arrival cleaning and the preparation of your holiday home and include the cost of gas and electricity. Parks also offer entertainment programmes and charge for optional Entertainment and Clubroom Passes. Some parks may also charge an additional refundable cleaning/damage waiver deposit. These charges will be invoiced to you directly from your holiday park and they are payable after you receive your holiday confirmation. Charges vary & may be free on some dates. How many bedrooms will I get in my accommodation?

Your accommodation will be allocated by the park based on the size of your party. Details will be sent to you within 21 days of your booking.

Is there a booking fee?

There is an online fee of £3.00 per booking.

When will I receive confirmation of my booking?

When you book online, confirmation of your holiday will be emailed to you immediately. UK holiday parks will also send confirmation by post within 21 days, detailing the accommodation you have been allocated and any additional charges that may apply.

Where can I find my booking reference number?

Your BreakFree Holidays unique booking reference can be found on the confirmation we send to you. This should be quoted on all correspondence or if wish to speak to us about your holiday.

Do you offer holiday insurance?

Yes. You can choose to take out our optional holiday insurance which is priced at £10.00 per booking for UK breaks. Are pets welcome?

BreakFree Holidays are unable to take pet bookings as part of this promotion. We advise that you contact the park before making your booking to ensure pets are allowed at the accommodation grade of your choice. Once your booking is confirmed with us you are able to contact your chosen holiday park and add this onto your booking and pay any extra charge, if applicable.

Do we have to take 4 people?

All prices are based on a minimum of four people booking. Fewer than 4 people can book a holiday as long as the 4-person minimum holiday price is paid.

How much is it to upgrade my holiday home? Can this be done at time of booking?

Book online and you can see all accommodation types listed by price and book the one you want. Otherwise, please contact your park direct after you have made your booking. Details of your park will be included with your confirmation.

Do you overbook holidays?

No. When you book online your reservation is made directly on our system and we can confirm your booking immediately.

Do bookings run Sat to Sat or can customers pick their own dates?

UK holidays run from Monday to Friday (4 nights) or from Friday to Monday (3 nights). Multiple breaks can be booked to make a longer holiday.

Terms and Conditions

  • £60 holidays* are per unit, per break for Luxury holiday accommodation for 3 or 4 nights on spring & autumn 2015 dates. Holidays are £80* per unit, per break for Luxury holiday accommodation for 3 or 4 nights on summer 2015 dates. Not all parks are available on all dates. Maximum up to 8 people per holiday home. A £3 online booking fee applies. Full payment for the holiday accommodation is required at time of online booking. Adults and children (including infants) are charged at the same per person price. This is a promotional offer and is subject to availability. Full list of promotional holiday dates are available online at www.breakfreeholidays.co.uk/deals. Bookings close Saturday, 28 February 2015.
  • An additional service charge is applied by UK Holiday parks to cover the cost of pre-arrival cleaning and preparation of your holiday home and gas and electricity. Charges are listed in full on the website and are per unit per night. Service charges will be invoiced direct to you by your park in advance of your arrival. Some parks may also charge an additional refundable cleaning / damage waiver deposit. These charges are in addition to the cost of your accommodation.
  • UK Holiday Parks offer day and evening entertainment programmes for which there is a charge via Entertainment & Clubroom Passes, but this is optional and customers do not have to participate. Optional entertainment charges are listed in full on the website www.breakfreeholidays.co.uk/deals. Please note that Entertainment/Clubroom passes may be required for access to facilities such as swimming pools, bars, restaurants etc on selected parks.
  • 3-night weekend breaks start on Friday and end on Monday. 4-night midweek breaks start on Monday and end on Friday. All holidays are subject to a minimum duration of 3 nights.
  • Customers’ monies will be held in Trust by the booking agent, BreakFree Holidays and will be passed to your Holiday Park or resort on completion of your holiday, offering you complete financial protection.
  • Holidays in this offer are subject to availability at the time of booking your break online. Not all parks will be available on all dates and certain dates may be excluded from this promotion. This offer is subject to promotional availability and BreakFree Holidays reserves the right to remove any accommodation on any date. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
  • Holidays offered are organised by independent parks and operators. Your contract will be with the owner or operator of the holiday park when a confirmation has been issued. The party with whom you have your holiday contract accepts liability only for the negligent acts or omissions of its employees. These terms and conditions, together with the park operators conditions, form the basis of your contract with the holiday park/operator and theirs with you. Your application is your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this offer.
  • These are family and couples holidays and bookings cannot be accepted from parties where all persons are under the age of 21. Bookings are not normally accepted from groups.
  • NO AMENDMENTS can be made by you after your holiday application has been confirmed online or your application received by post. No refunds can be made in the event of cancellation by you after the holiday confirmation has been issued to you in accordance with your application, unless the reason for cancellation is default by the park operator.
  • These are self-catering holidays in caravans, chalets, apartments or lodges. Your holiday starts at 4pm on arrival day to 10am on departure day. Please note that some facilities may be seasonal.

  • Bed linen is not included in the price, but may be offered for hire by the park. A charge for extras e.g. cots, highchairs, bed linen etc, if required will be made by the park and is payable directly to the park.
  • It is your responsibility to leave your holiday home in the condition that you found it. Breakages, damaged or missing items WILL be charged to you.
  • Insurance is not included and is £10 per booking if required. All Insurance Premiums and Insurance Premium Taxes collected are the Insurers’ monies and passed immediately to Optimum as Underwriting Agents of Ageas Insurance Ltd, to be held in Trust. These companies are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.   • Pets cannot be booked as part of this promotion, please contact individual parks for pet options before you book.

If you are travelling as a couple then you simply need to pay the minimum cost which starts from just £80 for a four-night break. More than four people can also book, on payment of the extra per person price – great for extended family breaks too!

Prices vary depending on the date you wish to travel; you can holiday from just £20 per person by taking the £5 per night price shown here in the price grid, for example 19th April and multiplying it by four nights.

There are no extra service or entertainment pass charges to pay for on most European breaks^^, and you can enjoy a short break from four nights to a longer holiday of any length up to 21 nights.

Standard Caravans are 10ft wide and available with two or three bedrooms sleeping up to six or eight. There is normally one double bed and two or four single beds, with the option of a double pull-out bed in the lounge. They come fully furnished with a living area, fully-equipped kitchen, and toilet and shower, plus each holiday home has an outside dining area and a gas or charcoal BBQ (where local restrictions allow, you’ll need to provide your own charcoal). Bed linen, duvets and towels can be hired at time of booking.

Holiday Parks & Charges

There are no extra service or entertainment charges with your European holiday, with the exception of a pool charge that applies at the holiday park Duinrell in Holland and the holiday park Campingplatz Herbolzheim, Germany.

Many facilities are free but you normally pay for use of park amenities such as tennis, mini golf, sauna, solarium, pedalos, bicycle hire and pony rides for example. There is usually a charge for washing and drying machines.

European holidays can start on any day of the week, and can be any length of stay between 4 and 21 nights. So for example you could start your ten day holiday on a Tuesday, coming home 10 days later on a Friday, subject to availability.

    Holidays in this offer are subject to promotional availability at the time of booking. BreakFree Holidays reserves the right to remove any accommodation on any date. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • FINANCIAL PROTECTION:
    Holiday Parks will be booked directly through BreakFree Holidays with Greenbank Holidays, who are ABTA bonded.
  • HOLIDAY CONTRACT:
    Holidays offered are organised by independent operators through the booking agent BreakFree Holidays. Your contract will be with the owner or operator of your holiday park and comes into effect when a holiday confirmation email has been issued to you. Holiday confirmations will be issued immediately when you book online. Please note that you will NOT receive any additional communication from the holiday resort provider. For all queries, please call the BreakFree Holiday helpline on 0844 543 9700.The party with whom you have your holiday contract accepts liability only for the negligent acts and/or omissions of its employees.
  • TERMS & CONDITIONS:
    These Terms and Conditions and How to Book apply to all holidays booked through this offer and, together with the standard conditions of the holiday park or resort operator, form the basis of your contract with your park or resort operator and theirs with you. Your application is your acceptance of the terms and conditions of this offer.
  • HOLIDAY PAYMENT:
    Full payment for the holiday is required at the time of booking. Adults & children (infants) are charged at the same rate. For European breaks, prices are per person per night. Where there are fewer than four people the minimum charges for four people per break will be applied. There is no reduction for accommodation only bookings. Online payment must be made by credit or debit card.
  • FERRY CROSSINGS:
    European Holiday Park holidays include a midweek return Dover – Calais off peak ferry crossing. This will be for one car (excluding trailers, bike racks etc) and up to 6 passengers, this can be booked at time of booking your holiday home accommodation. The off-peak service is outbound Sunday-Thursday between 14.01 to 06.00 and inbound Monday-Friday 00.00 to 14.00 excluding Friday 3rd and Monday 6th April where there is no off peak service; Alternative ferry crossings can be booked at a supplementary cost. There is no reduction for accommodation only bookings.
  • EXTRA CHARGES:
    Many facilities are free but you normally pay for use of parc amenities such as tennis, mini golf, sauna, solarium, pedalos, bicycle hire and pony rides for example. There may be a charge for other facilities on some parcs. There is usually a charge for washing and drying machines.
  • HOLIDAY PARTIES:
    Groups may be restricted on some parks.
  • AMENDMENTS:
    All amendments will be subject to a £30 amendment fee plus any additional cost arising from the amendment you wish to make including costs of alternate accommodation, extra party members or additional services. There are also additional charges for specific amendments made at any time of the year, as detailed below:
    • If, after our contract is formed, you reduce the number of nights in your chosen accommodation, you must still pay for the full duration.
    • A change made within 12 weeks of departure, where you alter the holiday dates, shorten the holiday duration or amend/cancel any travel or hotel arrangements, may incur cancellation charges as shown below.
    • A change of date by more than 2 weeks will be treated as a cancellation of the original holiday.
    • If you amend or cancel your travel arrangements or you lose your travel tickets, you must pay for any extra charges or cancellation fees levied by operators. This includes flights, Irish ferries and car hire bookings where, at the very least, you will lose the additional deposit paid.
  • OCCUPANCY:
    Only people whose names are on your holiday booking form are permitted to occupy the holiday home allocated.
  • HOLIDAY HOMES:
    Holiday Park prices in Europe will be standard 2 or 3 bedroom mobile homes (from £5 per person, per night, including an off-peak mid-week Dover-Calais ferry crossing). Holiday homes will be available from 4pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure. Accommodation will be allocated by the holiday park based on the size of the party. If arriving at your park during late evening you MUST advise your Park direct in advance. Air Conditioning and Decking are available and will be charged at a supplement. Linen Hire (see point 15), and Equipment Damage Waiver Insurance (£15 per unit) is not included. Larger groups may be asked to pay a higher damage waiver deposit by the operator/park. No more than 4 adults are permitted per unit of accommodation in European Holiday Park mobile homes, children making up the balance to the maximum sleeper amount of 6 or 8.
  • HOLIDAY DURATIONS:
    European Holidays:
    Holidays Parks have a minimum 4-night duration with any start date and any length of stay available up to a maximum of 21 days.
  • BREAKAGES:
    It is your responsibility to leave your holiday home in the condition that you found it. Breakages, damaged or missing items WILL be charged to you.
  • SELF-CATERING:
    These are self-catering holidays.
  • BED LINEN:
    The European Holiday parks do not include Bed Linen. It can be purchased at a supplement. Single linen sets cost £12.50, single linen and duvet set £14, double linen £18.50 and double linen and duvet pack £20.
