One of the best things about the Lakes is just how close they are to the coast too. This sweet lodge is only a couple of miles away from Grange-over-Sands, a charming Edwardian coastal town. Even closer you’ll find the historic village of Cartmel, which has its own Michelin starred restaurant!

The pretty village of Coniston is full of fab cafes and restaurants, but you could easily stay in all week at this outstanding house.

The property won the title of ‘Best Residential Build’ at the Northern Design Awards in 2020, and we can totally see why – with exceptional decoration, awesome social spaces, and floor to ceiling glass at the front of the cottage, we don’t know if we could ever bear to leave for home after a holiday here.
