This picturesque stone cottage is situated right in the heart of Snowdonia National Park and has absolutely stunning views across the lake and mountains. Despite its peaceful and relaxing location, you can find adventure around every corner. Head down to Lake Gwynant for a bit of water sports fun where you can enjoy paddle boarding and canoeing, or join one of the many footpaths or mountain cycle tracks that lead into the valley or up to the peaks.

Just half an hour’s drive away, you’ll find yourself at the beautiful beaches on the North Wales coast. The vast sandy beaches of Anglesey, the wonderful resort of Llandudno and the Llyn Peninsula are all well worth a visit during your stay. Those looking to be a little more active can enjoy the beautiful Wales coastal path trails with the stunning scenery along the way.

Facilities: This beautiful stone holiday cottage can sleep up to four people in two bedrooms – one double and one twin – and would make the perfect base for a family holiday. With original beams in most of the rooms, this property has kept a lot of its charm and traditional features. The sitting room is large and airy with a woodburning stove to keep you warm and cosy on the colder evenings. The kitchen has a wonderful Stanley Range that provides cooking, heating and hot water. There is also an electric hob, microwave and fridge so you will have all the appliances you need to cook delicious meals for your guests. These meals can then be enjoyed at the wooden dining table that has spectacular views out across the lake.

Step outside and you will find a wonderful enclosed garden with a sunny terrace. Tan Maredydd is nestled in the Nantlle Valley, surrounded by dramatic hillsides and overlooked by the imposing Mount Snowdon. This area has so much to offer, from gentle walks to challenging ridge climbs, and there is always the summit of Mount Snowdon for the more adventurous. It is the perfect location in North Wales as there is something for everyone to enjoy! Attractions such as the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Caernarfon Castle, Zip World and Bounce Below are all just a short drive away and great for a fun family day out.

Facilities: This beautiful property can accommodate four guests in two bedrooms – a ground floor double and a first-floor twin – making this ideal for families with small children or guests who are slightly less mobile. There is a wonderful sitting room on the ground floor with comfy sofas and a TV, all set around the wood-burning stove. There is also a second small sitting area upstairs with a great selection of books and a lovely armchair for anyone who is looking for a little peace and quiet.

Stepping outside you will find not one but two wonderful gardens for you to enjoy. To the front of the property, you will find a large enclosed garden with a spacious lawn area, shrubs and fruit bushes, as well as a swing set for the children to enjoy. At the rear of the cottage, there is a large patio area with garden furniture, so you can enjoy the sunshine all day long. Great for: A Gorgeous stone-built traditional farmhouse with outstanding views and its very own river

Llwyn Bedw is nestled right in the heart of Snowdonia and provides the perfect base for those looking to explore everything the area has to offer. The property is surrounded by mountains, lakes and rivers and offers superb walking paths and mountain bike trails that you can access directly from the front door. A 10-minute drive away, you will find the picturesque village of Llanberis, and it is from here that you can catch Britain’s only rack and pinion railway to Hafod Eryri, the stunning new visitor centre at the Summit of Snowdon. Alternatively, you can take one of the many walking routes up to the summit which is over 3,000 feet high.

Facilities: With thick stone walls, slate floors and stunning inglenook fireplaces, Llwyn Bedw retains many of its traditional features and is a real characterful cottage. Sleeping up to eight people in four bedrooms – one four-poster, one double and two twins – this is the ideal property for larger parties. With a large sitting room that has plenty of seating for everyone as well as a huge selection of books and games for everyone to enjoy, there’s plenty of space to relax in. There is also a smaller snug room with more comfy sofas, a wood-burning stove and a TV with a DVD player. The large farmhouse style kitchen is fully equipped with an AGA, combination microwave, dishwasher, fridge and all the pots and pans you might need to cook a wonderful meal in the evening for your guests.

Outside, the enclosed garden has a patio and lawn as well as a river to one side, winding its way down the mountain. This is the ideal location to sit and relax or enjoy some al fresco dining after a busy day exploring the North Wales mountains.
