Vesta View
Location: Hexham, Northumberland
Great for: A wonderful modern property for large groups looking to enjoy the beauty of Northumberland.
Vesta View is a modern and luxurious property with spectacular panoramic views of the Northumberland countryside. The holiday home is located close to the market town of Hexham and all its local amenities. Set in the heart of Hadrian’s Wall country, the cottage is ideally situated for walking the Hadrian’s Wall Path National Trail and cycling Hadrian’s Cycleway. This is ideal for those guests who wish to get active and explore incredible, historic surroundings. Located less than 30 miles from the pristine beaches of the Northumberland coast and just over an hour’s journey to the historic castles of Alnwick and Bamburgh, this a wonderful base for your next family holiday.
Facilities: This large property has five beautiful en suite bedrooms and can accommodate up to ten guests. Two of these bedrooms are located on the ground floor, making it the perfect multi-generational holiday home if you have anyone less mobile within your group. Every bedroom has its own TV, hairdryer, cooling fan for the warm summer months and blankets and hot water bottles for the colder ones. Everything has been thought of to make your holiday perfect! The living room is the centrepiece of the downstairs with its comfortable seating and floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, making the most of the incredible views. The kitchen is fully equipped and will make your dinner parties a cinch with its two fan-assisted ovens and five-ring hob. There is a separate dining room with a large table that can easily seat ten people, ample crockery and glassware, as well as a well-positioned beer/ wine cooler nearby, meaning you don’t have to keep returning to the kitchen in order to keep everyone’s glasses full.
Outside, there is a wonderful wrap-around garden with views stretching out across the Northumberland countryside. There is a large patio with outdoor seating, making it the perfect spot for some al fresco dining in the summer months. There is plenty of private parking and even an Electric Vehicle Type 1 charging point so you can power up, ready for your journey home. 3 St Cuthberts Garth
Location: Bamburgh, Northumberland
Great for: Superb property for dog lovers as it is located just a short walk from the incredible dog friendly BAmburgh beach!
This wonderful property is located in the centre of Bamburgh and within walking distance of the beautiful sandy Bamburgh Beach. The central location means this property it is the ideal place to base yourself when exploring the glorious Northumberland coast. The village is full of wonderful boutique shops, bars and tearooms so you will have all the amenities you might need right on your door step.
Just a short stroll from the property you will find a whole host of activities for you and the family including the dramatic castle, the RNLI Grace Darling Museum and the wonderful award winning Bamburgh Beach which offers excellent surf spots as well as a fun day for the kids playing in the sand dunes. Dog walkers will be thrilled to know that this beach is also dog friendly all year round! This stunning coastline really is the ideal destination for your next holiday.
Facilities: This wonderful property offers two king size bedrooms so can accommodate up to four guests – ideal for a small family or two couples looking to get away and explore the incredible Northumbrian countryside. The comfortable sitting rooms has a pretty fireplace and plenty of seating along with a freeview TV, DVD player and Wi Fi making a lovely place to relax and catch up after a busy day exploring the local area. Bay View
Location: Waren Mill (Nr Bamburgh), Northumberland
Great for: Former Norman grain mill offers superb luxury interiors, stunning surroundings and spectacular views.
This wonderful and modern first floor apartment is located just three miles from the beautiful village of Bamburgh on the Northumberland Coast. The fresh salty air and sweeping golden sand beach and the dramatic fortress of Bamburgh Castle are just a short journey away from the property and are the reasons why Bamburgh is one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. Other nearby attractions include the picturesque fishing village of Seahouses, with its trips to the nearby Farne Islands, and the very popular Alnwick Castle and Gardens. There is certainly something for the whole family to enjoy.
The apartment overlooks Budle Bay, a Site of Special Scientific Interest due to the rare birdlife that can be seen there, and has stunning views towards Holy Island in the distance. With plenty of walking trails, cycle routes and golf courses all nearby there is certainly something to keep every member of the family happy.
Facilities: Situated in a former Norman grain mill, this fabulous apartment, situated on the first floor, has a modern and luxury interior with high quality fittings and stunning sea views out across the coast towards Holy Island. There are three bedrooms including a king-size double with TV and en-suite walk-in rainfall shower so the property can accommodate up to six guests. There is a wonderful bright open plan living room with plenty of comfortable seating making the ideal spot for relaxing after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
Outside you will have shared use of all the land surrounding the mill including beautiful lawned areas perfect for an evening drink while watching the incredible sunsets. There is plenty of off road parking available as well as storage for bikes and outdoor furniture. It’s not hard to see why Bay View is one of our top Bamburgh holiday cottages.
Glenander
Location: Bamburgh, Northumberland
Great for: Superb property located in the heart of Bamburgh village.
Located right in the heart of the beautiful village of Bamburgh this property is perfectly located for your next family holiday to the Northumberland Coast. Just a few minutes walk from a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs as well as being just a stone’s throw from the magnificent Bamburgh Castle, there really is something for everyone to enjoy. Within walking distance from the property you can enjoy a tour of the RNLI Grace Darling Museum or venture down to Bamburgh’s wonderful award winning beach which offers excellent surfing as well as a long stretch of the sandy beach for the children to enjoy. For the more active in your group you will find a number of superb walking trails and cycle routes, many of which can be accessed directly from the village.
Facilities: This wonderful self catering holiday cottage can accommodate up to 10 people in five bedrooms making it the ideal base for a large family or group of friends. There is a lovely sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating, the perfect place to sit, relax and unwind with friends after a busy day exploring the local area. The light and modern kitchen offer you all the appliances you would expect from a self catering property such as this, including a Range cooker with double electric ovens and hob and microwave. To ensure you can relax as much as possible – you are on holiday after all – there is also a washing machine, tumble dryer and most importantly a dishwasher!
Outside you will find an enclosed patio with plenty of outside seating ready for you to enjoy al fresco dining when the sun is shining as well as a private enclosed garden to the front that is gravelled with yet more outside seating. The fact this property is pet friendly means you can bring your four legged friends to enjoy the wonderful countryside with you and is just one further reason that this is one of our favourite holiday cottages in Bamburgh.

Great for: perfect dog friendly property with spectacular countryside views and luxury furnishings.
This delightful holiday lodge is located on the outskirts of Bamburgh and has spectacular countryside views out towards the magnificent Bamburgh Castle. The village has excellent pubs, restaurants and a small selection of village shops so you will have all the amenities on hand that you might need during your stay. As the property is so close to the Northumberland coast there are plenty of opportunities for you to spend your days on the lovely sandy beaches sunbathing, swimming in the beautiful clear waters, or getting involved with a variety of water sports, including surfing.
Facilities: The interior of the lodge has a real light and airy feel with high-quality furnishings and a tasteful decor – it really is a real home-away-from-home. The open-plan living area has plenty of seating for you to enjoy a relaxing evening with friends and family after a busy day, whilst the warming wood burner keeps you warm and cosy. The modern kitchen is fully fitted to the highest standard with all the appliances you could possibly need in order to rustle up a delicious home-cooked meal for all your guests. There are three bedrooms, one of which has two bunk beds, so the property is able to accommodate up to eight guests, making it the perfect place for larger families or groups of friends.
