One of only two Haven holidays Cornwall has for you to choose from, it is situated right next to the beach in St Ives Bay and only a short drive away from the town itself. Location – Newquay, Cornwall

Best for – Visiting St Austell and the Eden project

Parkdean Resorts White Acres is located just 5 miles away from the town of Newquay but is more inland than most other Newquay parks making it well located for visiting both the town of St Austell and the Eden Project.

St Austell is one of the biggest towns in Cornwall, making it worth a visit on your holiday. The town is known for china clay mining, which has shaped much of the landscape here. Head to the Wheal Martyn China Clay Museum to discover why so many lakes around St Austell glow an almost luminous emerald green or visit famous Eden Project which is built in an old china clay pit. It now houses thousands of rare and exotic plants underneath its geometric domes – creating the largest indoor rainforest in the world!

Within driving distance of this holiday park, you can wander among beautiful gardens complete with massive living sculptures at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, no longer lost, but one of the most popular garden attractions in the country. On the way back, don’t forget to visit the gorgeous Pentewan Sands for a stroll along the beach before dinner.
