Cracking Easter Caravan Holidays

Caravan parks pull out all the stops for Easter, with a huge range of activities to keep your little bunnies (and you) entertained. Here’s our rundown of what’s on this Easter with the leading holiday park operators.

Haven at Easter

Children are spoiled for choice at Haven parks over Easter. The entertainment includes craft sessions where kids can create with pots of paint, glue, sprinkles and glitter, and there’s bonnet making with an early evening parade to show off their extraordinary headwear.

Join in with Haven’s very own Easter Party with games, disco dances for 5 to 12 years olds, and fancy dress competition; every park encourages guests to don bunny ears for an Easter Egg Hunt, with plenty of prizes to discover along the way.

Haven’s Nature Rockz activities are taking place throughout April, so families can try their hand at outdoorsy pursuits including fire lighting, pond dipping, den building and more. There’s also plenty of fun at the indoor pools, with Aqua Jets, Turbo Paddlers, Inflatables and swimming lessons.

Why choose a caravan park this Easter?

  • Indoor pools: April showers don’t matter when you’ve got indoor pools to splash around in. Most caravan parks will have a heated, lifeguarded indoor pool, and at the bigger parks there are all sorts of activities and inflatables to satisfy your little swimmers.
  • Kids’ clubs: Most caravan parks have dedicated kids’ clubs, often organised for tots, children and teens. The short sessions are guaranteed to thrill and entertain your little ones (and mean you could even enjoy an hour or two to yourselves).
  • Evening entertainment: From bingo to big band, there’s nightly entertainment (at most parks) that will appeal to all ages. Early evening is usually given over to kiddie discos and party games, with everything from karaoke, to quizzes, to team shows and visiting bands.
  • Accommodation: Static caravans are perfect when you are travelling with children. They are fully equipped with everything you’ll need for self-catering, have hot showers and separate toilets, and comfy living rooms where you can play games or cosy up. Our tip for Easter is to look for the grades that include double-glazing and heating throughout – it takes the chill off April mornings.
