Getting Behind English Tourism Week

2012 is going to be a massive year for tourism in the UK, what with the Olympics, the Diamond Jubilee, an extra bank holiday and the bi-centenary of Charles Dickens to celebrate. The sunny weather we’re basking in now is only going to fuel our desire for a UK holiday in 2012.

English Tourism Week, which runs from 10-18 March, is a celebration of all things amazing about holidays in the UK.

The week is a chance to celebrate our brilliant beaches and stunning coastline, theme parks and fairs, delightful countryside and castles, our amazing museums, ancient relics, and the people who make England such a wonderful place.

We’re marking the period with our own homage to some of the greatest British seaside towns and celebrating what makes places like Blackpool, Weymouth, Great Yarmouth and Skegness amazing.

Of course, we’ll also help you find a holiday in England at an incredible price – we have holidays from a tiny £40 – for the whole family!

But most of all, we want to hear from you – what do you love about holidays in England?
