There are numerous holiday parks located in the heart of North West & Lake District, one of our favourites is Parkdean Resorts Fallbarrow. This stunning holiday park is located on the eastern shore of the Lake Windermere and is the perfect location to get access to the water’s edge. Being at the centre of the National Park is great for walkers, hikers and cyclists who wish to take full advantage of routes around Lake Windermere.
Fallbarrow accommodates a huge choice of caravans and lodges (dog friendly options are available) in a peaceful atmosphere with light entertainment which guests are welcome to take full advantage of. There’s also a newly refurbished Boathouse Bar and Restaurant which has been given a makeover for 2020 in in the past few years and a brand new jetty has been renovated for boat launching – ideal for those keen sailors!

If having a central location and access to the Lake District is essential, then Fallbarrow could be the best place for you. Based near the small down of Bowness-on-Windermere be sure to know you will have no problem finding things to do.
