Seaton has a mile-long pebble beach flanked by an esplanade that takes walkers along the bay. The closest sandy beach is at Lyme Regis, around seven miles away.

The incredible Jurassic Coast provides a "185 million year geological walk through time". Discover stunning rock features, landslides, lagoons and fossils on beaches. For the very best views, follow the South West Coastal Path along the coast and towards Undercliff National Nature Reserve.
Beer and fishing
Nearby Beer is a small and picturesque fishing village of stone houses and beautiful views. Here you can hire motorboats from Beer Beach and gain a close-up view of the local fishing industry. Each year Beer hosts a Regatta Week in August where visitors can enjoy a variety of events and take part in a family fun day.
Seaton Marshes are a particularly popular spot with a variety of marshland, ditches and ponds attracting a range of birdlife all year round - bird watchers head to Colyford Common and Black Hole Marsh for the best sightings.
