Travel tips & notes...
Scotland has many attractions for those travelling with pets - explore along the stunning coast, head to the beautiful national parks, or discover the many memorable historic attractions.
You can expect lots of Scotland's most popular attractions to welcome well-behaved dogs - but check with the attraction directly for full details.
Our pet-friendly holiday parks in Scotland have caravans that are reserved for those travelling with dogs - simply complete your search and look for "pet friendly" in the accommodation description.
There is always a small charge for travelling with your pet, which will be added on during the booking process. Most parks will accept up to two dogs per accommodation.
Holiday parks will usually have a few rules for pet owners. Dogs should be kept on leads when on site, and they shouldn't be left in caravans on their own.
Dogs listed under the dangerous dogs acts will not be accepted - if in doubt please give your park a call.
