Modern static caravans have everything you need for an effortless self-catering break, whether it’s just the two of you or the whole family. There’s lots of space, comfort and mod cons so you can holiday in style.
A typical static caravan will have a lounge area with settee seating, a TV and table for meals and board games. There will be an open-plan kitchen with everything you’d need for a self-catered stay, usually including an oven, microwave, fridge and a sink.
There will be two or three bedrooms, with main bedroom for adults and two smaller bedrooms with single beds for children. Often, there will also be a pullout bed in the living room for extra sleeping space. You’ll also enjoy plenty of storage space with wardrobes and cupboards throughout the caravan.
Bathrooms will have a shower with hot water available on demand, and lots it’s not unusual for caravans to have a second toilet for added convenience.
As standard, all static caravans at the UK holiday parks we feature will have a shower room and toiler, a fridge, a colour TV and a gas fire in the lounge.
Caravans are graded by their size, age and the range of extras they include, with the poshest models usually featuring lots of extra space, outdoor decking, heating in every room, a flat screen TV and luxury conveniences such as a dishwasher. Holiday parks will usually offer a range of specially-adapted caravans for those who require adapted access, including wheelchair users and guests with guide dogs. Most of our holiday parks have additional grades of static caravan holiday homes with additional facilities and amenities including extra heating, double-glazing and a range of extra features in kitchen and living areas.
There are a few items we recommend you bring with you for your break. They include washing up materials, towels and tea towels, toiletries and bathroom supplies.
