It is little wonder why Cornwall is a regular winner of best destination awards; there's a whole host of stunning beaches, jaw-dropping scenery, pretty seaside villages and world-famous attractions.
The roll call of reasons why Devon is one of the UK's favourite holiday destinations goes on and on: fabulous beaches, famous seaside towns, the English Riviera, brilliant attractions and historic sites with amazing gardens are just some of the temptations.
By booking at one of these amazing holiday parks, you'll enjoying outstanding facilities for a comfortable stay. All the sites we feature have fresh water collection points, showers and wash basins, and clean toilet facilities. Most have waste water and chemical disposal points and touring wardens on hand if you need any help. Check the park pages for specific information.
Theme parks fun
The south west is home to some superb theme parks. In Devon, there is treetop excitement at the River Dart Adventure Centre and Go Ape, and Crealy Adventure Park and Woodlands Leisure Park have rides and rollercoasters for all ages. In Cornwall, Camel Creek Adventure Park has thrills for children and adults, and action-packed Flambards combines high-octane rides and a Victorian village.
For historic attractions, Cornwall has numerous stately homes and exotic gardens. Check out the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the unique Minack Theatre, which is carved into the cliff face overlooking Porthcurno beach. Of course, the daddy of all gardens in Cornwall is the incredible Eden Project, which brings together plant life from across the world in two giant bio domes.
