Lakeland is on a flat coastal plain so it's easy to get around - even for little legs! But the park is surrounded by peaks, views of Morecambe Bay and glittering lakes - so you might want to pack your hiking boots and explore further afield. You can then come back for some canoeing and kayaking, escape to a favourite spot to watch the sunset - or enjoy a slap up dinner!
There is always so much to see and do for all ages. Head to the local beach, stay on park and splash around in the pool (with swimming lessons available for beginners), try your hand at tennis or simply relax whilst the Lakeland team entertains you with their shows.
However, the big news story for 2020 is the brand-new jaw-dropping events arena coming in Autumn, prepare to be spellbound by the innovative flexible space creating magical, cosy corners one evening and huge gala events spaces the next. You have to see it to believe it!
