Haven Doniford Bay
This peaceful Somerset park is a brilliant base for rockpooling, so take your net and spend hours foraging for shrimp on the rocky beach below. If that sounds a little to active, stay on park for a splashing time in the pool and on the slides. The park is on a gentle slope, which guarantees lots of great views of the sea, and some lovely grassy spots for picnics. So pass the sandwiches!
There is always so much to see and do for all ages. Head to the sandy nearby beach or spend the day enjoying the on park pools (with swimming lessons available for beginners), try your hand at tennis or simply relax whilst the Doniford Bay team entertain you.

Please note 2020 hols at Haven parks are Haven Hideaway breaks, with all the fun of the outdoors, but these do not include access to the usual entertainment, activities and pools. On these breaks you will not be charged for entertainment passes, but If Haven are able to give you access to these facilities in line with social distancing measures before your break, you will be given the opportunity to purchase entertainment passes, for access to these facilities. If you choose a 2021 break, the facilities will be open as normal - standard pass prices apply, or choose a break with FREE passes.

Watchet Harbour and Shore - 2 miles
A pretty harbour town just down the road. Kids will love fossil hunting at low tide whilst you relax and watch the boats go by
Tropiquaria - 3 miles
Feed the meerkats, hold a snake or something cuddly, and be sure to visit the aquarium. Kids will love Pirate Ships and Play Fort.
Dunster Castle - 8 miles
Holding a dramatic position in the picturesque village of Dunster this wonderful castle is waiting to be discovered. Explore the great exhibition space in the crypt, wander out to the 17th century stables and take the kids to the log play area in the River Gardens.
West Somerset Steam Railway - 10 miles
Take a ride by steam train along one of the longest heritage railways in the country - a great way to enjoy Somerset's stunning scenery.
Hestercombe Gardens - 17 miles
50 acres of stunning park and woodland interspersed with glistening lakes, formal terraces and flower gardens. Our customers love the wonderful restaurant and coffee shop here too.

Haven Doniford Bay
Take J23 off the M5 south of Bristol onto the A38 towards Bridgwater. From Bridgwater take the A39 towards Minehead. After about 15 miles at West Quantoxhead, fork right after St Audries garage. Doniford Bay Holiday Park is a mile further on the right. If programming your SAT NAV device, please use Postcode: TA23 0TJ. This will guide you directly to Doniford Bay where you will be able to follow the signs for directions to the Park.
Nearest train station is in Taunton, 17 miles away from the Park.
