Windermere Lake Cruises
Windermere Lake Cruises is a leading tourist attraction operating in the heart of the Lake District sailing on England's largest lake. Steamers and Launches sail daily throughout the year between Ambleside, Bowness and Lakeside with summer season connections for the Lakeside & Haverthwaite Steam Railway, The Lake District Visitors Centre (Brockhole), Fell Foot Country Park, The Lakeland Motor Museum, Wray Castle and Ferry House for Hilltop and Hawkshead.

Jump aboard our train at Haverthwaite Station. Enjoy views from your carriage up to Lakeside; the southern tip of Lake Windermere. Then if you fancy, combine the trip with a visit to The Lakes Aquarium or continue your journey aboard a Windermere Steamer to Bowness or Ambleside.

Leave the M6 at junction 36, take the left hand lane onto the A590 (signposted Kendal, Barrow)
Continue onto the A591 (signposted Windermere)
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A591 (signposted Windermere)
Continue on the A591 through Stavely and Ings (warning Speed Camera) passing Windermere to the mini roundabout signposted Bowness, Ambleside, Ullswater)
Turn left at the mini roundabout onto the A592 (signposted Bowness)
Continue along A592 1.3 miles to Fallbarrow Park
