After a Christmas of panicking over presents and tussling with turkey dinners we think mums deserve a break, so we have launched our first ever BreakFree Holidays TV advert to tell the world about our great value holidays.
Our 20-second animation features a frazzled mum and her family, ready for a relaxing break away.
Launching on the Disney Channel on Boxing Day, Mum Deserves A Break is supported with a Facebook campaign where fans of the BreakFree Holidays Facebook Page page can nominate deserving mums to win a luxurious pamper hamper.
Jo Taylor, marketing manager at BreakFree Holidays says: “BreakFreeHolidays.co.uk brings together a huge range of deals at amazing holiday parks across the UK and Europe – we cover everywhere from Cornwall to Corsica, from Scotland to the Spanish Costas.
“After Christmas, it’s usual for families to feel a dip when the excitement of the season is over, so we wanted our TV advert to recognise this and show mums that there is a place they can go to find affordable, fun-packed holidays.
“We are supporting the advert with UK holidays from £60 per break – the perfect inexpensive pick me up after a Christmas of excess.”
Mum Deserves A Break airs from 26 December and will appear on family channels including Sky 1, ITV, Disney, E!, More 4 and Boomerang, in the breaks of favourite shows including The Simpsons, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Scooby Doo and Terry Pratchett’s Going Postal.
The ad was created by SugarSnap, a Reading-based digital video production specialist.
The story opens with a grey day and our unhappy looking family appears one-by-one, each sporting a long face and frown.
Their young daughter tell us that to lift their gloom they took a look at BreakFreeHolidays.co.uk, and found it bursting with brilliant holiday parks and packed with great deals.
As she speaks the scene is flushed with colour and we see a water complex, a big sandy beach and a comfy looking holiday home flash before us. Smiles appear on the faces of our weary family members as the little girl tells us that booking is easy.
The story finishes with a positive message for mums who need a break away: “get exploring now, at BreakFreeHolidays.co.uk.”
